CHARLOTTE — Saturday night was an emotional night for the Clemson Tigers at Bank of America Stadium.

After giving up a 17-point fourth-quarter lead, No. 17 Clemson got a 41-yard kickoff return from Adam Randall, an 18-yard Cade Klubnik to Antonio Williams pass and then Nolan Hauser’s 56-yard kick as time expired, lifting the Tigers to a 34-31 victory over No. 8 SMU.

With the win, Clemson won the 2024 ACC Championship and clinched a spot in the College Football Playoff.
