Virginia Tech is keeping its starting quarterback for the 2025 season.
Kyron Drones is returning for his third season with the Hokies. He initially transferred from Baylor in 2022 and has found a home in Blacksburg.

Drone has over 3600 passing yards over the last two seasons, adding nearly 1,200 on the ground. That’s amounted to 38 total touchdowns and it’s key for Virginia Tech to keep him in town after a second-straight bowl game berth.
