Klubnik Asked About Plans to Return to Clemson Next Season

Dabo Swinney has been pretty adamant that his starting quarterback will return to Clemson next season.

Cade Klubnik, who is now on the tail end of his junior season, has the option of forgoing his senior season and entering the NFL Draft. On Monday, ahead of the Tigers’ trip to Austin to face off with Texas in the opening round of the College Football Playoff, Klubnik was asked about his plans for next season.

“I don’t have an answer for that yet,” the quarterback said.

Klubnik has seen a huge jump in his production as a junior and the former 5-star prospect is already being touted as a Heisman candidate for 2025.

The Clemson quarterback has completed 64% of his passes this season, throwing for 3,303 yards with 33 touchdowns to just five interceptions. He has added 458 rushing yards and has scored seven more touchdowns via his legs.
