ESPN’s College GameDay show on Saturday morning included a feature on Clemson’s Cade Klubnik and Texas’ Quinn Ewers, and the two quarterbacks clashing again in the College Football Playoff.
The College GameDay feature looked back at the 2020 Texas State Championship between Austin Westlake vs. Southlake Carroll, as a young Klubnik faced off against a young Ewers in an epic battle, years before the fifth-seeded Longhorns would take on the 12th-seeded Tigers in the first round of the expanded 12-team College Football Playoff.
