Highly-Touted OL Planning Next Visit to Clemson

Another highly-touted offensive line target is set to be in Clemson later this month.

4-star Chancellor Barclay (First Academy, FL) tells The Clemson Insider that he is “planning on” attending the Elite Retreat on January 25.

The 6-foot-4, 285-pound prospect picked up an offer from the Tigers after a workout at camp last June, then returned during the season for the game against Louisville.

“Definitely the culture,” Barclay told TCI in a previous interview. “I’ve heard so many things about it, but I hadn’t actually seen it. It’s different when it comes to culture. I of course, got to experience Death Valley, the hill, it was amazing. The culture, it’s just… everything’s so different. It’s different to a point that culture is like the main thing there.”

Barclay currently has more than two dozen offers, with Alabama, Florida State, Florida, Georgia and Penn State being a few of the more notable ones.

Rivals ranks Barclay No. 93 overall, No. 4 among all offensive guards and No. 13 in the state of Florida.

Some of the other notable offensive line targets planning to be on hand include 4-stars Zyon Guiles, Desmond Green, Leo Delaney, Carter Scruggs and Grant Wise.
