Hall Shines in Player of the Game Performance

Former Clemson men’s basketball star PJ Hall shined on Monday.

Hall was named Monday’s Player of the Game for the Grand Rapids Gold, the NBA G League affiliate of the Denver Nuggets.

Hall was outstanding in his team’s 124-94 loss to the Windy City Bulls, the NBA G League affiliate of the Chicago Bulls.

Hall posted a double-double with 23 points and 10 rebounds, to go with two assists and two steals. He was an efficient 7-of-12 from the floor, including 1-of-3 from 3-point range, and went 5-for-5 from the free-throw line.

The 6-foot-10, 245-pound center has been highly impressive through five games with the Gold, averaging 17.8 points, 11 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game.

Hall, who spent the past four seasons at Clemson, went undrafted in the 2024 NBA Draft but signed a two-way contract with the Nuggets.

Hall became just the 14th player in Clemson men’s basketball history to earn first-team All-ACC honors last season, when he helped lead the Tigers to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament. He averaged 18.3 points and 6.4 rebounds per game in 2023-24, on his way to Associated Press All-American Honorable Mention honors.
