Tigers Among Three Finalists for Highly Touted Edge Rusher

One of the top edge rushers in the 2026 recruiting class has narrowed his recruitment down to three schools.

Clemson is one of the finalists for North Oconee (Bogart, Ga.) four-star Khamari Brooks, along with Alabama and Georgia.

The 6-foot-4, 230-pounder is the No. 11 edge defender and No. 154 overall prospect in the country for the 2026 class, per the 247Sports Composite rankings.

Brooks scored an offer from Clemson in late October and most recently traveled to Tiger Town for the rivalry game against South Carolina in late November.

Along with his final three schools, the blue-chip talent also touts offers from Tennessee, Florida State, Penn State and Michigan, among others.

Brooks is slated for upcoming visits to each of his three finalists. He told The Clemson Insider that he will attend the Elite Retreat on March 8, while he also plans to visit Georgia on January 18 and Alabama on February 1.

As a junior in 2024, Brooks was highly productive while posting 131 total tackles, 17 tackles for loss, 13 sacks, three pass breakups, an interception, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, 24 quarterback hurries and two defensive touchdowns. He also registered 31 receptions for 569 yards and nine scores on the offensive side of the ball.
