TCI Recruiting Roundup: Luke Set to Visit Priority Target for Third Time

Over the past few weeks, Matt Luke has shown a lot of love to each of Clemson’s top offensive line targets.

Luke has been visiting towns all across the country during the contact period, checking in on priority recruiting targets. Many he’s visited twice.

On Monday, Luke, along with head coach Dabo Swinney will be in Ohio, checking in on 4-star Adam Guthrie (Miami Trace, OH). This will be the third time Luke has been in to see Guthrie. His last visit came just over a week ago when he went and watched one of Guthrie’s basketball games. However, this will be the first time Swinney has accompanied Luke on one of the visits.

Guthrie is also planning to get back to Clemson at some point in the near future. The blue-chip talent recently told The Clemson Insider he wasn’t sure yet if he’d be able to make it to the Elite Retreat on March 8 due to his basketball schedule, but that he definitely planned on visiting at some point this spring.

Guthrie was last in Clemson for the Tigers’ blowout win over NC State in September.

“It definitely blew my expectations out of the water,” Guthrie told TCI after the visit. “Definitely liked my time there.”

Guthrie now has more than 40 offers. On3 ranks him No. 37 overall and No. 7 among all tackle prospects.
