One of Clemson’s top defensive end targets has locked in an official visit with Clemson.

4-star Cam Brooks tells The Clemson Insider that he will attend the big official visit weekend May 30 to June 1. The 6-foot-3, 240-pound edge has also confirmed plans to be at the Elite Retreat on March 8.

Brooks has well over 30 offers with most every high-level football program having pulled the trigger. He picked up his offer from Clemson back in early September.

Members of the Tigers’ coaching staff, including head coach Dabo Swinney, were in to see the blue-chip talent during the contact period.

Brooks is ranked No. 88 overall in the 247 Composite Rankings and No. 9 among all edge rushers. He also ranks No. 12 in the state of Georgia.
