Clemson Falls to Stanford in Gymnastics

CLEMSON – Despite scoring a season-high in points, Clemson’s Gymnastics Team fell to No. 16 Stanford Sunday at Littlejohn Coliseum.

The Cardinal beat Clemson 196.925-196.575 in the overall score.

The Tigers’ 196.525 mark was a season high and was the second time in 2025 that the Tigers surpassed the 196-mark. Madison Minner, Maggie Holman and Eve Jackson led the Tigers, as well as Hannah Clark.

Clemson scored a 49.050 on the vault, as Holman and Tara Walsh added two 9.850 to bolster the Tigers’ event score. Holman tied her career high, while Walsh’s 9.850 was a career high for the graduate on the event.

Despite the Tigers’ solid score, Stanford finished the routine with a 49.350.

On the bars, Rebecca Wells and Hannah Clark closed out the event with back-to-back sticks to round out the 9.875s, tying both of their respective career highs. Clemson tallied a 49.150 in the event.

Quinn Kuhl highlighted the beam with a career-best 9.875. She was followed by Brie Clark scoring a 9.825 and Lippeatt scoring a 9.800. The Tigers finished the event with a 48.975.

On the floor exercise, Clemson scored a 49.300 as a team. Jackson scored a career-high 9.950 to pace the Tigers. It marked only the sixth time in the program’s short history a Tiger hit a 9.950 in the event.

Clark followed in the sixth spot with a 9.925, while Molly Arnold notched a season-high 9.900 to mark the first time this season three Tigers have finished with a 9.900 or higher on floor. Minner also tied her season high with a 9.850.

Clemson finished the meet with a 196.575 overall score, surpassing the 196 threshold for the second time this season.
