After Taking Down SMU, Clemson Continues to Move Up NET Rankings

With the 79-69 road win at SMU on Saturday, the Clemson Basketball team added another Quad 1 win to its resume.

After the dominating win, Brad Brownell’s team moved up two more spots in the NET Rankings to No. 22.

“Our guys were locked in,” Brownell said. “We had a week, so we took Monday and Tuesday and really just worked on ourselves. We took off Wednesday, then Thursday and Friday we had really good practices leading into this game.

“I thought we played with great energy and had pretty good attention to detail.”

The victory over the Mustangs also moved the Tigers to 4-2 against Quad 1 competition. It also extended Clemson’s road winning streak over ACC teams to six games, a program record.
