A handful of recruits are set to visit Clemson on Friday, with the headliner being a highly touted 2027 quarterback.
Four-star signal caller Trent Seaborn (Thompson, Alabaster, AL) is set to make his return to Clemson. Seaborn tells The Clemson Insider he will spend the day on campus and will be accompanied by his father on the trip.
The visit will be Seaborn’s first in more than a year. He will take in practice in the afternoon.
“I’ve actually never met coach Swinney before, so I’d love to get to sit down and talk with him and really get to meet him,” Seaborn recently told TCI. “Because we share a lot of backstory with him, being from around my area. Obviously get to talk with coach (Garrett) Riley and coach (Tajh) Boyd again. Hopefully, get on the whiteboard, and talk some ball. Also, I’m really excited to get to see how they coach on the field. I’ve talked to them in the film room sometimes, but I’ve never actually seen them in action coaching.”
Seaborn, who is a former teammate of Peter Woods, ranks No. 83 overall in the 247 Composite and No. 10 among all quarterbacks in his class.
2026 four-star safety Zeke Marshall (Raburn Gap, GA) will return to campus for the first time since his freshman season. The 6-foot-6 prospect has close to 20 offers, including Kentucky, Virginia Tech, Oregon State and West Virginia.
2027 four-star safety Marquis Bryant (Rolesville, NC) will return to campus. He visited twice during the season.
The 6-foot-1, 180-pound defensive back has more than 20 offers and is currently considered one of the Top 100 players in the class. South Carolina, Georgia Tech, Alabama, Notre Dame and Tennessee are also set to get spring visits.
2027 QB DJ Hunter (Bearden, Knoxville, TN). The 6-foot-2, 195-pound signal caller also has spring visits set for Virginia Tech, Kentucky and Virginia. He recently attended a Junior Day at Florida State. Kentucky and Virginia Tech have already offered.
