Clemson has landed a commitment from one of its top offensive line targets.
Four-star Adam Guthrie (Miami Trace, Ohio) announced his commitment to the Tigers on Friday afternoon.
Guthrie is the nation’s No. 20 offensive tackle and No. 243 overall prospect in the 2026 class, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
The 6-foot-7, 300-pound prospect is visiting Tiger Town for the Elite Retreat on Saturday.
With his high school basketball season over after his team was eliminated from the playoffs, Guthrie decided to come into town even earlier. The blue-chip talent arrived on campus Monday and plans to stay through the weekend.
His previous visit was for the blowout win over NC State in September.
“It definitely blew my expectations out of the water,” Guthrie said about that visit. “Definitely liked my time there.”
Offensive line coach Matt Luke visited Guthrie three times during the contact period, with head coach Dabo Swinney also being on hand for one of those visits.
Getting Guthrie on campus for this weekend was already a big deal, but getting him on campus for an entire week proved to be huge for the Tigers in securing his verbal pledge.
