Clemson Lands Second Blue-Chip WR Commitment

Another big-time 2026 wideout has committed to Clemson

Four-star wideout Connor Salmin announced a commitment to the Tigers Saturday night. Salmin chose Clemson over Notre Dame and Penn State.

The 6-foot-1, 190-pound prospect has visited Clemson multiple times since last summer. 247 ranks Salmin No. 146 overall, No 21 among all receivers and No. 5 in the state of Maryland.

Salmin is the third player to commit during the Elite Retreat and second wide receiver. His announcement came shortly after four-star Naeem Burroughs announced, and one day after four-star OL Adam Gurhie committed.

Clemson’s 2026 class now features nine players.
