While Clemson did pick up commitments from two offensive linemen during the Elite Retreat over the weekend, the Tigers are still looking to add more at the position.

With four-stars Adam Guthrie and Grant Wise now on board, along with four-star Braden Wilmes, who committed late last year, offensive line coach Matt Luke has already secured verbal pledges from three different players at the position.

Four-star Leo Delaney (Providence Day, Charlotte) was one of many offensive line targets that visited over the weekend and the blue-chip talent had a ball.

“The environment was insane,” Delaney told The Clemson Insider. “Everything coach Swinney talked about felt so real. It seemed like a place I know I’d be developed as a man and player, and most importantly love being at.”

Clemson was just Delaney’s first stop of the spring. He still has visits lined up to NC State, North Carolina, Tennessee, Michigan, Wisconsin and Penn State. Delaney has also already locked in plans to be at the big official visit weekend in Clemson from May 30 to June 2.

Delaney was the first offensive linemen in the 2026 recruiting class to announce an offer from the Tigers last summer. He’s been on campus multiple times now.

However, this last one was a little different and one of the biggest things that stood out was Dabo Swinney’s speech to the group that lasted more than two hours.

“Coach Swinney talked a lot about his plan and how nothing is falling off,” Delaney added. “How he believes in all of us and will be committed to us if we go there.”

The 6-foot-6, 280-pound recruit is ranked No. 63 overall by 247Sports and No. 5 among all interior linemen in his class.
