An in-state linebacker is set to return to Clemson later this month.
2027 prospect Bubba Alexander (Hammond) tells The Clemson Insider that he will visit on March 26. Alexander will attend a spring practice.
“I am looking forward to meeting Coach Allen and Coach Boulware and getting a chance to talk with them,” Alexander told TCI. “Honestly, just being around the team and staff. I have mentioned before that the culture is what attracts me to Clemson and it aligns with who I am as a person and a player. Just being there and being part of that for their practice is exciting.”
Alexander has visited multiple times in the past. The last time came for the Tigers’ blowout win over NC State in September. He has also attended Dabo Swinney’s high school camp several summers in a row.
As a sophomore, Alexander registered 110 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, two sacks, two fumble recoveries and 14 quarterback pressures. After helping lead Hammond to a state title, he was named second-team All-State and North-South participant.
