Blake Davidson Following Older Brother to Clemson

There will be two Davidsons on Clemson Basketball’s roster next season.

Blake Davidson, whose older brother Nick just recently signed with Clemson out of the transfer portal, officially signed with the Tigers on Wednesday.

The 6-foot-9, 200-pound forward originally signed with Nevada, but requested to be released from his National Letter of Intent after his brother signed with Clemson. The request was granted. Davidson committed to the Wolfpack last September.

As a senior at Mater Dei (Santa Ana, CA), Davidson averaged 10 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game. He averaged 11.1 points, 7.4 rebounds and 2.7 assists as a junior.

Davidson now becomes a member of what is Brad Brownell’s best signing class that also features four-star guard Zac Foster and three-star forwards Chase Thompson and Trent Steinhour. Thompson was recently named Mr. Basketball in the state of Minnesota.
