Now just days away from this year’s NFL Draft, an ESPN analyst released his latest mock draft on Monday.
ESPN’s Jordan Reid forecasted the entire 2025 NFL Draft with a full seven-round mock draft (subscription required).
The mock draft projects three Clemson products to be selected – linebacker Barrett Carter, safety R.J. Mickens and tight end Jake Briningstool.
Carter came off the board in the fourth round and went to the Detroit Lions with the 130th overall pick in Reid’s mock draft.
As for Mickens and Briningstool, Reid has both being drafted in the sixth round, just a few picks apart — Mickens to the Cincinnati Bengals (No. 193 overall pick) and Briningstool to the Denver Broncos (No. 197 overall pick).
The first round of the 2025 NFL Draft will kick off at 8 p.m. Thursday, April 24, followed by Rounds 2-3 at 7 p.m. April 25 and Rounds 4-7 at noon April 26.
Reid’s NFL Draft rankings (subscription required) have Carter as the No. 137 overall prospect in this year’s draft class, Briningstool as the No. 169 overall prospect and Mickens as the No. 195 overall prospect. Reid also ranked former Clemson guard Marcus Tate as the No. 225 overall prospect.
