What They’re Saying: Carter Lands with Bengals

The first Clemson Tiger came off the board Saturday when Barrett Carter was taken on Day 3 of the 2025 NFL Draft.

The former Clemson star linebacker was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the fourth round with the No. 119 overall pick.

Carter became the 84th NFL Draft selection in Dabo Swinney’s head coaching tenure and the 16th fourth-round pick of his tenure, while Carter became the Bengals’ seventh all-time selection from Clemson, joining a list of players that includes wide receiver Tee Higgins (2020) and Carter’s former Clemson teammate, defensive end Myles Murphy (2023).
