Clemson has handed out a new offer.
Offensive lineman Fletcher Turk (Hebron, Dacula, GA) announced an offer from the Tigers late Wednesday. The 6-foot-6, 280-pound recruit now has well over a dozen offers, including Georgia Tech, Michigan State, Wake Forest and UCF.
Clemson has been recruiting Turk for months now. Offensive line coach Matt Luke visited him during the contact period back in January. Luke watched one of Turk’s basketball games.
The offensive lineman then made his first-ever visit to campus this spring.
“The development, the facilities. I’ve never seen anything so nice in my life,” Turk told The Clemson Insider after the visit. “Just also the people, how godly they are and their foundations on God and faith. That’s really important to me. So I love that part about it.”
Turk has already scheduled an official visit to Georgia Tech from May 30 to June 2, the same weekend that Clemson holds its big official visit weekend. No word yet on if those plans have changed or if Turk plans to take an official to Clemson.
As a junior, Turk helped lead his high school team to a state title in Georgia, earning second-team All-Region honors.
