Clemson is still in search of new defensive end targets in the 2026 recruiting class.

One name worth following is four-star Zach Groves (East Robertson, Cross Plains, TN). The blue-chip talent has released a list of his five finalists that includes Clemson, Georgia, Southern Cal, Ole Miss and Tennessee.

Interestingly enough, Groves named the Tigers as a finalist despite not having picked up an offer from Clemson. Other schools that have offered outside of his other four finalists include Auburn, Florida State, Georgia Tech, LSU and Michigan.

He took spring visits to Southern Cal and Ole Miss. He visited Georgia back in February.

The 6-foot-4, 225-pound recruit last visited Clemson in the fall of 2023.

As a junior, Groves was credited with 65 tackles, 21 tackles for loss, 16 quarterback hurries and four sacks.
