Clemson already boasts one of the best groups of wide receivers in the 2026 class.
The Tigers have three wideouts currently committed, with each ranking as a four-star talent.
Naeem Burroughs, the first to commit back during the Elite Retreat, is ranked as high as No. 24 overall. He is also ranked as the second-best receiver in the class per On3.
Connor Salmin, who committed just after Burroughs, is considered a Top 150 talent, as is Gordon Sellars, who announced last month.
Despite having all three of those highly-touted wideouts on board, the Tigers are still looking to add at the position. The staff only signed one (Ju Ju Preston) in the 2025 class, and saw both Troy Stelatto and Noble Johnson leave via the portal after last season. Adam Randall also moved to running back. The staff did bring in a transfer in Tristan Smith, but as things currently stand, he will exhaust his eligibility this season.
So, the 2026 class is an opportunity to restock the cupboard, in a sense. Seeing as both Bryant Wesco and TJ Moore could potentially head off to the NFL after their junior seasons, now is the time to do it, and bringing in as many as four would certainly do that.
As things stand now, the staff is set to bring in two receivers for the big official visit from May 30 to June 2. Five-star Cederian Morgan (Benjamin Russell, Alexander City, AL) is certainly the most high-profile of the two. He is one of the best players in the class, regardless of position.
Morgan worked out at camp last summer and was last on campus for the Elite Retreat in March. Pulling him out of the state of Alabama won’t be easy, but the staff will get their shot at taking one final swing later this month. Alabama, Auburn, Colorado, Georgia and Florida are the other finalists, and each will get an official, as well.
The other receiver set to attend the big official visit weekend is four-star Craig Dandridge (Cambridge, Alpharetta, GA). The 6-foot-2 wideout picked up his offer back in the spring after an unofficial visit in which he attended a practice. Dandridge has well over 20 offers in total, with Tennessee, Georgia and Georgia Tech also set to get official visits.
Landing either will only strengthen a class of wideouts that is already considered one of the nation’s best.
