Clemson University president Jim Clements and his daughter, Clemson graduate “Amazing” Grace Clements, went viral on social media for their special graduation video showing the moment they shared at graduation when Grace leapt into her father’s arms and he was tackled with a hug.

Grace, along with her mother, Beth, and her father, appeared on TODAY on Monday to talk about their viral graduation moment.

“It was pure joy, total and complete happiness, to see this girl, our beautiful daughter, run across the stage and literally leap into my arms. It was magical,” Jim said. Check out the cool interview with the family below:
