An up-and-coming signal-caller is set to return to Clemson next month.
2028 QB Austaan Cristiaan (Bishop Verot, Fort Myers, FL) tells The Clemson Insider that he plans to work out at Dabo Swinney’s high school camp on June 3. He will work out during the morning session.
While Cristiaan is just finishing up his freshman year in high school, he’s already made several visits to Clemson. He was last on campus for the spring game.
“I think this is the best visit I’ve ever been on. And I’m not even overexaggerating when I say that,” Cristiaan told tci after the visit. “They just rolled out the red carpet. When you walk in, there’s like 30 coaches outside the front door shaking your hand, saying, ‘Oh, what’s up, Austan?’ Then you have your personal guy go through and do the whole tour with you, eat lunch with you. They just make it super personal. Personalized and specific to you and what type of player you are. They really make it feel like home. That’s the biggest thing for me.”
Cristiaan also made a game-day visit during the fall. He was at last year’s spring game and camped at Clemson last summer, too.
The 6-foot-2 quarterback already has a handful of offers, but he recently picked up his biggest when Arkansas offered in January. As he continues to develop, that list will almost certainly start to grow.
