There is a new name added to the guest list for Clemson’s big official visit weekend.
Four-star CB Danny Odem (First Academy, Orlando, FL) is set to be in attendance for the event this weekend.
Earlier this month, Odem announced a list of eight finalists that included Clemson, Oklahoma, Miami, Nebraska, Syracuse, Penn State, Georgia and Florida.
The 6-foot-2, 180-pound defensive back visited for the Elite Retreat back in March, picking up an offer from the Tigers in the process.
“The visit was great,” Odem told The Clemson Insider after the Elite Retreat. “I was very excited when I got the offer.”
With four-star corner Samari Matthews no longer set to be on hand this weekend, Odem is currently the only player at the position expected to be in attendance. Clemson already has two corners committed in the 2026 class in four-star Shavar Young and three-star Marcell Gipson, and the staff is looking to add one more to the group.
Odem is a teammate of current Clemson OL commit Chance Barclay, who announced the weekend of the Elite Retreat.
