Clemson is set to play host to a Peach State cornerback.

Three-star Kris Brunson (Brookwood, Snellville, GA) tells The Clemson Insider that he will be on campus on Thursday. The 6-foot-2, 180-pound prospect has camped at Clemson in the past when he was younger, but this will first time visiting when he wasn’t working out.

With four-star Samari Matthews no longer set to be on hand for the big official visit event this weekend, the Tigers are in search of a new target at corner.

Brunson has more than 30 offers, including Mississippi State, Louisville, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest. The Cardinals, Cavaliers and Bulldogs are each set to get official visits next month.
