Guest List for Clemson Official Visit Weekend

CLEMSON — One of Clemson’s biggest recruiting events of the year is upon us.

The Tigers are set to hold the big official visit event this weekend, with a multitude of high-profile recruiting targets set to be in attendance.

Before we get to the visitors’ list, there’s been one more name scratched from the weekend. Four-star DE Zavion Griffin-Haynes is no longer attending. Griffin-Haynes’ official visit schedule has changed multiple times in recent weeks, with Clemson being added about a week ago. Now, there’s been another change, and he’s now planning to visit Chapel Hill.

As for the ones that will be on hand, a number of priority targets will be on campus this weekend. Some of the bigger names include DL Bryce Perry-Wright, LB Tyler Atkinson and S Joey O’Brien, all rated as five-star talents.

Despite having four OL already committed in the class, Matt Luke is bringing in a half dozen uncommitted players this weekend, with Clemson looking to add as many as two more players at the position.

With four-star Carsyn Baker scratching Clemson from his schedule, that leaves four-star Jae Lamar as the only running back making the trip. Three-star Devin Fitzgerald is the only receiver set to attend.

Atkinson will be the only LB, and only one corner will be on hand, while Mickey Conn is bringing in three safeties, looking to add a third to the group already committed.

As for defensive ends, two are going to be on campus, and if we’re counting Perry-Wright, who is certainly capable of playing outside, that makes three.
