One of the top receivers in the 2027 will be back in Clemson next week.
Four-star wideout Myles McAfee (Archbishop Spalding, Severn, MD) will work out at Dabo Swinney’s high school camp on June 3. McAfee first visited Clemson late last season for the Tigers’ win over Virginia.
“The atmosphere, that was a big one. The fans were going crazy,” McAfee told The Clemson Insider after the visit. “Another thing is the receiver coaches, they were getting to know my family. Not just football-wise, not talking about football, but actually getting to know them and me. That was great.”
The 6-foot-1 wideout already has close to 20 offers, including Ohio State, Penn State, Auburn, Florida State and Miami.
McAfee now comes to Clemson looking to add one from the Tigers.
“That’ll mean a lot,” McAfee said. “Because Clemson isn’t just offering people like that. And the receivers, DeAndre Hopkins, Tee Higgins, Sammy Watkins, they have a great resume.”
247 ranks McAfee No. 37 overall and No. 5 among all receivers.
