One 2027 prospect out of North Carolina will return to Clemson next week.

2027 linebacker Elijah Chaffin (Davie County, Mocksville, NC) will work out at Dabo Swinney’s high school camp on Wednesday, June 4.

The 6-foot-4, 215-pound prospect has camped at Clemson in the past and also visited in the spring, as well as for the Tigers’ win over Virginia late last season. Virginia Tech also got a game day visit last fall, while Louisville has also been showing interest this spring.

Chaffin currently has offers from App State, ECU and Marshall, but is still looking to earn his first Power-4 offer. He was on hand for the ECU spring game in April and also visited Wake Forest and Marshall this spring.

The rising junior is a two-time all-conference player and led the state of North Carolina with 142 tackles last season, adding seven tackles for loss.
