Clemson is losing another pitcher to the transfer portal.
The Clemson Insider confirmed that redshirt sophomore lefthander Hudson Lee has entered the NCAA transfer portal.
A first-year transfer in 2025, Lee appeared in 15 games for the Tigers and had a 5.79 ERA. He allowed 13 runs (nine earned) and 10 hits while striking out 19 batters and walking 13 across 14 innings pitched. Opponents hit just .192 against him.
Prior to joining the Tigers, Lee was a member of the Wake Forest baseball team for two seasons from 2023-24 and made two relief appearances in 2024.
An all-state selection in baseball and football at nearby Dorman High School, Lee was ranked as the No. 493 player and No. 62 lefthander in the nation by Perfect Game. He was the No. 9 player and No. 2 lefthander in South Carolina, according to Perfect Game.
The Roebuck, S.C., native lettered four times in baseball and three times in football at Dorman.
Lee becomes the fifth Clemson pitcher to enter the transfer portal since the 2025 season came to an end this past Sunday, joining freshman righthander Chayce Kieck, junior lefthander Ethan Darden and sophomore righthander Luke Brown/redshirt freshman lefty Jackson Cole.
