Clemson Adds Transfer from SEC School

Clemson baseball has received a transfer commitment from an SEC school.

Former Georgia freshman Bryce Clavon announced his commitment to the Tigers on social media Saturday morning.

The Stockbridge, Ga., native played in 27 games for the Bulldogs this past season, including one start. He batted .333 in 15 official at-bats. He had one home run, one double, one triple and two runs batted in.

Clavon had a 1.207 OPS with a slug percentage of .733. His on-base percentage was .474 and he had two stolen bases. He did strikeout seven times, drew two walks and was hit by pitch on two occasions, as well.

At 6-foot, 187 pounds, Clavon can play both in the outfield and in the infield. He has three years of eligibility remaining.

In high school, Clavon participated in the 2024 MLB Combine at Chase Field in Phoenix, Ariz., last June. He batted .330 with a .496 OB% and 34 stolen bases in 36 games played as a senior.

He was selected to play with the USA 18u National Team and earned a Perfect Game (PG) 10 Grade and named a PG All-American. Clavon was rated as the No. 2. ranked shortstop in Georgia and No. 4 nationally by PG. He was also named a Baseball Factory Under Armour All-American.
