Swinney Camp Notebook: Day 4 Morning Session

CLEMSON — Dabo Swinney’s high school camp rages on, with another session taking place on Saturday morning.

The Clemson Insider was on hand for all of the action, taking note of several players that really stood out.

– Four-star QB Trent Seaborn (Thompson, Alabaster, AL) worked out this morning, and the kid is the real deal. He makes all the throws, while making it look rather easy, and he does so with laser-like precision. Dabo Swinney watched on intently and seemed overly impressed with some of Seaborn’s throws. Seaborn hails from the same high school as current DT Peter Woods, with Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech and LSU are just a handful of schools to have already offered the 2027 signal caller. Seaborn is definitely a candidate to get one of those opening QB offers from the Tigers, and he’s made no secret of how badly he wants it.

– 2028 LB Brydon Feister (Archbishop Hoban, Akron, OH) was back on the practice fields this morning after also working out in the first session on Friday. The kid is an absolute stud and stole the show among the linebackers on hand.

– 2027 QB Luke Gaither was another quarterback who stood out. The 6-foo-4 signal caller is transferring to LCA for this season, the same high school RB Gideon Davodson and OL Easton Ware attended. Gaither has all the tools and is very accurate. Arkansas offered earlier this year.

– Three-star CB Akedran Crumel (Clayton, NC) worked out during the morning session. At 6-foot-1, Crumel has a lot of length and is extremely athletic. Wouldn’t be shocked to see him land an offer from the Tigers at some point in the not-so-distant future. Florida State, Kentucky, Georgia Tech, Ohio State and South Carolina are just a few of his offers.

– Four-star DB Bryson “BB” Brown looked really sharp. Arkansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Penn State are some of his offers. Brown’s mother is actually from Chester, S.C. Mike Reed has been showing a lot of interest of late, according to one source we spoke with.

– 2027 four-star Semaj Stanford (Broken Arrow, TX) is a Top 200 talent and showed why during the morning session. It is easy to see why he has close to 30 offers already.

– 2027 TE Sydney Padilla is a very intriguing prospect. He looks about 6-foot-4 and weighs at least 225 pounds. He is built like a tank, but moves well for his size. He takes long strides and covers a lot of ground quickly. Also showed off soft hands and an ability to go up and get the ball. Boston College and Syracuse have offered.

– 2026 DB Kenneth “KJ” Peck had a really good outing. An under-the-radar kid, who has really good coverage skills.

– 2027 LB Jayden Brown (Jefferson County, GA) was another player that caught our eye. A tad undersized, but moves really well.
