First 2027 QB Offer Goes Out

Clemson has handed out its first 2027 offer to a quarterback in the 2027 class.

Four-star Peyton Houston announced the offers after an impressive workout at camp on Sunday.

The 6-foot signal caller dazzled onlookers during his workout at camp and officially became the first quarterback in the 2027 class to pick up an offer from the Tigers.

Houston (Evangel Christian, Shreveport, LA) now has more than 30 offers, including Georgia, Michigan, Texas, LSU, Florida, Southern Cal and Oklahoma.

As a sophomore, Houston totaled 5,170 yards of total offense. His 4,480 passing yards are a 5A record in the state of Louisiana and he also set an NFHS record with 817 passing yards in one game. Houston was a sophomore MaxPreps All-American and first-team All-State.

Rivals ranks Houston No. 44 overall, No. 6 among all quarterbacks in the class and No. 5 in his state.
