The 2027 offers continue to go out for Clemson.

Four-star DE David “DJ” Jacobs Jr. (Blessed Trinity, GA) announced an offer from the Tigers late Friday. The 6-foot-6 pass rusher now has right at three dozen offers, including Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, Florida State, Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame and Texas.

Jacobs was a MaxPreps sophomore All-American in 2024 and was the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Class AAAA Defensive Player of the Year after racking up 112 tackles, 35 tackles for loss and 12 sacks.

In 2023, Jacobs was a MaxPreps freshman All-American, as well as the Region 7-AAAAAA Rookie of the Year. He totaled 81 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, six sacks and three forced fumbles.

247 ranks Jacobs as the top edge rusher in the 2027 class and as the third-best player in the class regardless of position.
