Clemson has picked up another commitment, and this is a big one.
Four-star DE Dre Quinn (Buford, GA) has announced a commitment to the Tigers, choosing Clemson over Texas. Notre Dame and Georgia were originally among the finalists before he trimmed his list down to two on Tuesday.
Quinn picked up his offer last November after an unofficial visit for the Louisville game. He would then return for the Elite Retreat in March and the big official visit weekend to kick off the month of June. Georgia and Texas also received officials. Notre Dame was scheduled to get one this weekend, but that visit has been canceled.
The 6-foot-4, 220-pound edge rusher is the second defensive end to commit to the Tigers in the 2026 class. He joins three-star JR Hardrick, who announced earlier this month, coming off the official visit weekend.
Rivals ranks Quinn No. 105 overall, No. 13 among all edge rushers in the class and No. 15 in the state of Georgia.
The addition of Quinn now gives Clemson 19 verbal pledges in the current recruiting class, which Rivals ranks inside the Top 5 nationally.
