Klubnik Putting on Clinic as Elite 11 Finals Counselor

After earning MVP honors at the Elite 11 Camp in the summer of 2021, Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik once again returned to the Elite 11 competition as an advisor this summer.

And much like he did as a five-star prospect four years ago, Klubnik has been putting on a show at the Elite 11 Finals this year.

Although he’s just serving as a counselor and not taking part in the actual competition, Klubnik has nonetheless managed to wow with his skills and display some of the reasons why he’s one of college football’s top quarterbacks, an expected 2025 Heisman Trophy contender and projected 2026 first-round NFL draft pick.

Just check out Klubnik’s impressive accuracy in the following video posted by Billy Tucker, the director of the Under Armour All-America Game:

Recruiting analyst Brooks Austin is among those who have been impressed by Klubnik at the Elite 11 Finals, particularly in terms of his work ethic and hunger to improve his own game while also helping and pouring into the current Elite 11 participants.

And even more so, Austin has been “blown away” by Klubnik’s passion for the game of football.

Austin says football is what he loves “more than anything else,” but Klubnik makes Austin “question my level of love for football.”

“Watching him work in that two-, three-hour session yesterday, made me wanna wake up today loving football a little bit more than I did yesterday, challenging myself to love football a little bit more yesterday than I did today,” Austin said. “That dude is a maniac. I don’t know if he’s going to be the No. 1 overall pick [in 2026.] I don’t think it matters. That kid’s going to play football in the NFL for 15 years. There’s no doubt about that in my mind.”

After three years at Clemson, and coming off his breakout 2024 campaign, Klubnik enters his senior season in 2025 ranking in the top five in Clemson history in nearly every passing category, including passing touchdowns (fourth), passing yards (fourth), passing attempts (fourth) and completions (fifth), as well as fifth in career touchdown responsibility and sixth in yards of total offense.
