This weekend marks the final official visit weekend before an NCAA-mandated dead period begins next week.
Several uncommitted Clemson recruiting targets will take one final visit this weekend before announcing commitments over the next couple of weeks.
Five-star LB Tyler Atkinson heads to Texas for his final official visit. Ohio State was expected to get that final visit, but Texas is making a late push. Atkinson was the only linebacker to attend Clemson’s official visit weekend, with Georgia and Oregon also getting officials. No commitment date has been set.
Five-star DL Bryce Perry Wright will be at Texas A&M this weekend. Perry-Wright is fresh off a visit to Texas, with Clemson, Miami and Auburn also receiving official visits. He will announce a commitment on July 4 in Las Vegas.
Four-star DT Keshawn Stancil, who visited Clemson last weekend, heads to NC State this weekend. Georgia, Miami and Penn State have also gotten officials. Stancil is expected to make a decision shortly after wrapping up his visits.
Four-star RB Jae Lamar will be in Athens this weekend. Lamar was the only running back on hand for Clemson’s big official visit weekend. Florida State and Miami both received officials, as did Auburn. Lamar will announce a commitment on Wednesday (June 25).
Four-star CB Danny Odem will finish up his official visit schedule with a trip to Nebraska. Ohio State, Oklahoma and Penn State all got officials, along with Clemson. Odem is set to announce on Monday (June 23).
Four-star safety Blake Stewart visits Michigan this weekend. Clemson and Miami also got officials.
