One of Clemson’s top remaining targets is pushing his commitment date back a day.

Five-star DL Bryce-Perry Wright will announce a decision on July 5 at 5 pm EST. Perry-Wright had originally set a commitment date of July 4.

The blue-chip talent will choose between finalists Clemson, Texas, Texas A&M and Miami.

Perry-Wright, ranked No. 32 overall and No. 2 among all DL by 247Sports, is one of the top uncommitted players in the class. He participated in the 2025 All-American Bowl, where he was credited with two QB pressures and two tackles for loss.

Last season, he had 57 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, 17 QB hurries and 9 sacks, per MaxPreps, while helping lead his Buford (GA) high school team to the quarterfinal round of the 7A playoffs.
