Florida QB Set to Return to Clemson

A Florida quarterback has set a return date to Clemson.

2028 signal caller Austan Cristiaan (Bishop Verot, Fort Myers, FL) tells The Clemson Insider that he will be back on campus for the Tigers’ season opener against LSU on August 30.

Despite being so early in the process, Cristiaan has already made several visits to Clemson, including two stops this year. He was on campus back in the spring, then worked out at camp in June. It is the second time Cristiaan has camped at Clemson.

“I think this is the best visit I’ve ever been on. And I’m not even over-exaggerating when I say that,” Cristiaan told TCI after his spring visit. “They just rolled out the red carpet. When you walk in, there’s like 30 coaches outside the front door shaking your hand, saying, ‘Oh, what’s up, Austan.’ Then you have your personal guy go through and do the whole tour with you, eat lunch with you. They just make it super personal. Personalized and specific to you and what type of player you are. They really make it feel like home. That’s the biggest thing for me.”

The 6-foot-2 quarterback already has more than a dozen offers, with Arkansas and Virginia Tech being two of his early Power-4 offers.
