Former Tiger Finds Professional Home

This former Clemson standout has found a home in professional basketball.

Jaeden Zackery has signed a contract with Karhubasket Kauhajoki, a pro hoops team based in Kauhajoki, Finland.

The team plays in Korisliiga, the top-tier pro basketball league in Finland.

Zackery averaged a career-high 11.7 points to go with 3.3 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game in Clemson’s run to a second-place finish in the ACC last season. The 6-foot-1 guard started all 34 games and shot 45 percent from the field, 36 percent from 3-point range and 82 percent from the free throw line.

Before transferring to Clemson, Zackery spent three seasons at Boston College and was the team’s third leading scorer in 2023-24 (11.3 ppg), adding 3.3 rebounds and 4.2 assists per contest. He shot 48 percent from the floor, including 41 percent from 3 and 82 percent at the free throw line.

In 136 games over his college career (134 starts), Zackery averaged 11.1 points and 3.3 rebounds per contest. He collected 438 total assists, 238 steals and 17 blocks.
