Tigers play West Virginia in Charleston Classic

CLEMSON –– Clemson University men’s basketball will face West Virginia in its first game of the Shriners Children’s Charleston Classic on Nov. 21 at 6:30 p.m., at the TD Arena in Charleston, S.C.

The contest will air on ESPN2.

ESPN and the Shriners Children’s Charleston Classic announced pairings, times and television designations for the four-team, two-day tournament on Tuesday. All four games of the tournament will be televised on ESPN2 and ESPN.

The Charleston Classic features two brackets, the Palmetto Bracket and the Lowcountry Bracket. The Lowcountry Bracket features Boston College, Davidson, Tulane and Utah State.

Clemson will play with either Georgia or Xavier on Sunday, Nov. 23.

This will be Clemson’s fifth appearance in the Charleston Classic. Clemson has a 8-4 record overall, including a championship in November 2008 and two runner-up finishes in 2013 and 2017.

Single-session tickets will go on sale in October, pending availability. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance as Premium Lower Sideline tickets have sold out before October the past three years.
