A fast-rising corner from the Tar Heel state is set to return to Clemson.

Three-star Akedran Crumel (Clayton, NC) tells The Clemson Insider that he plans to be in attendance when the Tigers open the season against LSU on August 30. Crumel is a teammate of four-star DT commit Keshawn Stancil.

The 6-foot-1 defensive back already has close to 20 offers, including Florida State, Georgia Tech, Ohio State, South Carolina, North Carolina, NC State and Mississippi State.

Crumel has visited Clemson multiple times already, including one in the spring and then returning to work out at Dabo Swinney’s high school camp in June.

“Everything (stood out). The facilities, the practice,” Krumel recently told TCI. “The energy of the coaching staff. How they all knew me before I even got there. It was like family.”
