Florida WR Getting ‘Chills’ Thinking About Upcoming Visit

Add one more name to the visitor’s list for Clemson’s big season opener.

2028 WR Camden Tietze (The Bolles School, FL) tells The Clemson Insider that he plans to be on hand when the fourth-ranked Tigers face off with No. 9 LSU next Saturday night.

Tietze is a teammate of current Clemson WR commit Naeem Burroughs, who will also be making the trip, along with five-star DL Asher Ghioto and 2028 QB Luke Toland. Tietze and Toland have camped at Clemson multiple times in the past, and all four vacationed at Lake Keowee in July.

“Luke and I have grown up and played football together,” Tietze told TCI. “In middle school, we started going to Clemson football camp and then hanging at the lake. Now, it’s crazy that I am visiting as a prospect. Naeem speaks so highly of Clemson, coach Swinney and coach Grisham.”

As a freshman, Tietze had 27 catches for 469 yards with six touchdown grabs.

The 6-foot-1 wideout is closing in on a dozen offers already, with Minnesota being the first to come from a Power-4 program.

“I so look forward to getting to show my parents Clemson, getting to know the program and the coaches even more,” Tietze added. “Hoping to perform this season to the level needed to get to the top of their WR chart. I am rolling in with three of my good friends and teammates. Death Valley at night gives me the chills already.”
