Hopkins Opens BBQ Food Truck at Death Valley

CLEMSON — Clemson legendary wide receiver DeAndre ‘Nuk’ Hopkins is fulfilling a vision he and his uncle have always had — selling their family’s smokin’ soulfood.

Starting this Saturday, when No. 4 Clemson hosts ninth-ranked LSU at Memorial Stadium, Nuk Hopkins X Smitty’s BBQ will have a food truck inside Death Valley at Gate 9 for the 2025 season.

Some featured menu items will be:

  • Brisket, Pulled Pork & Pulled Chicken Sandwich
  • Wings
  • Soul Rolls
  • Bang Bang Fries

“This has always been a vision of ours, and to be able to do this with my Uncle at a place that is so special to us is amazing,” Hopkins posted on his Facebook page Wednesday night. “Grateful to everyone who made it possible! See y’all Saturday!”
