The College GameDay selections are in for Week 1, including the top-10 showdown at Clemson’s Death Valley.
ESPN’s College GameDay crew has made their picks for tonight’s highly anticipated season opener between No. 4 Clemson and No. 9 LSU at Memorial Stadium.
Clemson comes in as a 4.5-point favorite on the spread for the game, which is set to kick off at 7:30 p.m. and will be televised on ABC.
You can see the picks from the College GameDay analysts below:
Desmond Howard: Clemson
“Blake Baker, the defensive coordinator for LSU, he wants to put a lot of pressure on Cade Klubnik. I think that’s gonna burn him. I’m going with Clemson over LSU.”
Nick Saban: Clemson
“I like Clemson in this game as well. I just think Clemson’s got a lot of continuity on their team, and I think this is going to be a year for them.”
Pat McAfee: Clemson
“I think this has been a couple years in the making for Cade Klubnik and Dabo Swinney. I think this is the year for Clemson. I think the sportsbooks agree. I think the polls agree. I like Clemson to get a big win.”
Lee Corso: LSU
“I don’t agree. My pick to win the national championship was LSU. Tigers upset the Tigers.”
