CLEMSON – Clemson extended its lead over LSU 10-3 and picked up its first touchdown of the season at Memorial Stadium Saturday with a fourth down push from Braden Jacobs to send running back Adam Randall to the endzone.
The Tigers’ scoring drive spanned six minutes and 75-yds, starting with a 24-yard downfield pass to T.J. Moore from Cade Klubnik to put the Tigers in LSU territory.
Klubnik then took the offense into his own hands, or legs, and ran for two first downs on respective seven yard rushes, juking out Tiger defenders..
The signal caller found sophomore wide receiver Bryant Wesco for a short pass, and Wesco punched it to LSU’s four-yard line. After Klubnik was sacked for a loss of ten yards, a 13-yard pass to Tyler Brown set up the score.
The touchdown was Randall’s first as a running back.
