During his weekly press conference on Tuesday, Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney provided the latest injury update on veteran offensive lineman Walker Parks.
Parks was injured during fall camp and missed the season-opening loss to LSU. Parks dressed out and was available on an emergency basis.
On Tuesday, Swinney confirmed that Parks practiced on Monday and is expected to the rest of the week.
Parks, a sixth-year senior, was injured during Clemson’s first scrimmage of camp on Aug. 9 and did not participate in the Tigers’ second and final scrimmage on Aug. 14. Fortunately for the Tigers, the injury wasn’t overly serious.
One of the few remaining super seniors, Parks has faced his share of adversity in recent years. In 2023, Parks suffered a season-ending injury in Week 2. He logged just 123 snaps that season.
Parks bounced back last year, starting all 14 games, while earning third-team All-ACC honors.
