CLEMSON — Saturday’s game between eighth-ranked Clemson and Troy has been delayed due to a lightning warning.
The game was stopped with Clemson trailing 7-0 at the 10:43 mark of the first quarter. The game will be delayed a minimum of 30 minutes.
The Tigers are 2-0 all-time against the Trojans. The last time the two teams squared off was in 2016, a 30-24 Clemson victory. The Tigers went unbeaten that season, going on to win the first of two national titles under Dabo Swinney.
