The latest AP Top 25 Poll was released Sunday following Week 2 of the college football season.
Clemson fell to No. 12 in the updated AP Poll after its struggles during the eventual 27-16 win over Troy on Saturday at Memorial Stadium.
Clemson was ranked No. 4 in the preseason AP Poll and No. 8 in the AP Poll after Week 1.
After opening the season with two non-conference games at Death Valley, Clemson will make its road debut next week when the Tigers open ACC play against Georgia Tech. The game at Bobby Dodd Stadium in Atlanta is set to kick off at noon and will be televised on ESPN.
Georgia Tech is among the teams outside the top 25 receiving votes in the latest AP Poll, with 78.
Miami (No. 5) is the highest-ranked ACC team in the latest AP Poll, followed by Florida State (No. 10) and then Clemson.
South Carolina (No. 11) is ranked directly in front of Clemson.
After a big win over Michigan, former Clemson defensive coordinator Brent Venables’ Oklahoma team is now ranked right behind Clemson at No. 13.
