Elite-Level EDGE Announces Clemson Offer

A new Clemson target for the 2027 recruiting class has emerged at defensive end.

Four-star Rashad Streets (Millbrook, NC) announced the offer on Monday via a social media post. Streets is a teammate of four-star LB target Quinton Cypher.

The 6-foot-4, 230-pound defensive end made his first-ever visit to Clemson for the Tigers’ season opener against LSU.

Defensive ends coach Chris Rumph went and watched one of Streets’ practices back in the spring, and the communication has been steady since.

“I think he is real. You can kind of tell when some coaches are just talking recruit talk,” Streets recently told TCI. “I feel like he is very genuine. Telling me how the recruitment process goes. And he is saying stuff you don’t even think about. I hadn’t really had a coach talk to me about how the recruiting process can get stressful and stuff. That really stood out about him to me.”

247 ranks Streets No. 43 overall and No. 8 among all edge rushers. He also ranks as the top player in the state of North Carolina at multiple recruiting services.

Streets already currently holds more than 30 offers from some of the biggest programs in the country. Georgia, Oregon, Tennessee, South Carolina, Florida State, Ohio State and Penn State are just a handful of the other schools he says are currently recruiting him hard. The Volunteers are considered by some to be an early favorite.

On top of his visit to Clemson, he also has dates locked in to Ohio State, Oregon, South Carolina, Penn State and Tennessee. He is hoping to also set up dates with North Carolina and Florida State.

“Right now I am pretty open,” he said. “Just going out to places to see what might fit me best.”
